Industrial Designer, Mid Level

Reporting to the design leads, this person is a core delivery designer on the team. They translate direction into excellent execution at pace, with diligence, and to a high standard using a combination of traditional craft and AI-augmented tooling. Work spans client projects, internal R&D, and experimental and educational projects.

Deliver industrial design work across research, ideation, concept, and development through to production-ready output, using a combination of traditional and AI-augmented tools and workflows Translate creative and project direction into well-crafted executions Work as a core member of the design team across multiple parallel projects Contribute to cross-division collaboration with Future Lab, Intelligence, and Entertainment Support internal AI R&D and experimental and educational projects alongside senior team members Apply and develop AI-augmented workflows in day-to-day design work

4+ years industrial/product design experience (agency experience a plus), strong portfolio demonstrating craft across disciplines and project stages (not a single-category specialist), excellent core industrial design skills including sketching, CAD, visualization, model-making sensibility, and clear presentation of work, experience delivering project work as part of a design team, exploratory mindset with ease in parallel non-linear processes and fast-moving toolsets

AI fluency using AI to create meaningful directed outputs with real creative control beyond simple prompting, comfort with client-facing work on relevant parts of a project, interest in cross-disciplinary collaboration across entertainment, technology, or R&D contexts

Comprehensive AI practice, project leadership experience, entertainment or VFX background

AI fluency is a significant benefit but not required; excellent traditional skills with a genuine appetite to learn fast and get up to speed with AI-augmented workflows are sufficient. The team will assess ability and potential from wherever the candidate currently is.
